FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS:
What Is a Notarization or Notarized Document?
A notarization is the official process where a Notary Public verifies your identity, witnesses your signature, and confirms you are signing willingly and knowingly.
A notarized document is any document that has been signed and certified by a Notary Public. The notary does not review or approve the content. The notary's role is to verify the identity of the signer and ensure the signing process is completed properly.
What Is a Notary Public?
A Notary Public is a state-appointed official who verifies the identity of signers, witnesses signatures, administers oaths, and helps prevent fraud.
A Notary Public is not an attorney and cannot provide legal advice, explain legal documents, or tell you which document you need. Our role is simply to verify identities and properly witness signatures in accordance with State law. If you have legal questions, you should consult an attorney.

• Powers of Attorney
• Affidavits and Sworn Statements
